Winnie Odinga, the last born daughter of the late ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga, has given up on challenging the legitimacy of the ascension of his uncle Dr. Oburu Odinga to the helm of the ODM Party.
In a hurried meeting convened by ODM Party Nairobi delegates led by Makadara MP George Aladwa, Winnie accepted the party’s decision to specially include her in the list of delegates to the scheduled National Delegates Convention.
Earlier, a group led by suspended ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna and believed to have her support had threatened to hold a separate National Delegates Convention.
With her inclusion, party supporters hope she will end her unneccessary theatrics and align behind Dr. Oburu who has fully assumed the leadership of the ODM Party.
