ODM Party Leader Dr. Oburu Odinga has directed the party’s Director of Elections and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed to increase the party’s parliamentary strength in 2027.
The ODM Party is in the early stages of developing a pre-election pact with the UDA Party to collaborate in the 2027 polls.
Sources familiar with the goings on in ODM inner sanctum say the two are reaching out to former ODM leaders and officials who decamped to other parties to rejoin the party with the pledge to conduct free, fair, credible and verifiable party primary polls.
A working document prepared by a secret team tasked to handle the matter projects the party’s ability to clinch at least 115 seats in the National Assembly, with additional five senators.
